Slime Care
-
Hand washing before playing with slime will help prolong its quality and safety. Wash hands after handling.
-
Children under the age of 7 should not be left unattended around slime. Choking Hazard: Some slimes come with small parts. Use caution around children and pets.
-
Place slime back into its original container after play to avoid drying and to help retain its original texture. Slime expands after play. A simple zip lock bag can be used if it won't fit back in the original container.
-
Slime is not edible. Please do not eat it, no matter how delicious it might smell.
-
If slime gets on furniture, clothes, or any other surface use a damp warm cloth with distilled vinegar to remove.
-
Sticky Slime: Use the 1 tsp borax powder included. Mix in 1 cup warm water. Start by adding about 1/4 tsp or less slowly on your slime, knead, and repeat until it firms back up. Never add the whole cup of activator water to your slime.
-
Overactivated Slime: Use skin-safe glycerin (drops) at a time and knead well, or you can place the slime container with the lid tightly closed in a hot water bath for 10-15 minutes to melt back. Repeat if necessary. Doing both combinations will result in a faster and better consistency slime.
